Yes, we have yet another rendition of the famous archer coming to our cinema screens later this year! When I first saw that this teaser trailer had been announced online, I immediately thought "Not another one!" The story of Robin Hood has been brought to life on the big screen multiple times before. So what makes this one any different?

After watching the trailer, I actually felt like I had eaten my own words. Yes the basic story remains the same, but it also has a different twist on it and appears to have a lot more action, the film has an intriguing cast too. Our hero is now being portrayed by the brilliant and versatile Taron Egerton who is known for his roles in the Kingsmen films and also the unforgettable and heartwarming Eddie The Eagle alongside Hugh Jackman. It also stars Jamie Foxx, Ben Mendelsohn, Eve Hewson, Tim Minchin, and Mr Grey himself, Jamie Dornan.

The trailer actually perceives the newest take on the legacy of Robin Hood to be actually pretty good. And in my opinion Robin's new threads look very similar to another famous archer. It bares a very close resemblance to the outfit worn by Stephen Amell as The Green Arrow in the early years of The CW TV show, Arrow.
